31-Oct-2011:
The BICF is excited to announce our 1st annual participation in helping the Homeless on a day that is commonly known as Halloween! This being a day on which many aim to receive tricks or treats, we aim to lift the spirits of those gravely in need by serving the Homeless with the respect they deserve as fellow human beings, and sharing the Good News through live music, testimony and inviting the gifted among the homeless to join in performing percussion and voice on stage along with us! Homelessness is not a result of personal choice! It is a byproduct of misfortune, deep pain and suffering through unforeseen paths of fear, loneliness, neglect, abuse and many other things unfathomable to those who are more fortunate, and who are not exempt! Homelessness does not discriminate and neither should we! So let’s make a difference on Halloween and help feed the Homeless! Instead of going out and asking for “tricks and treats”, we encourage you to do like us and go out and “meet and greet” the Homeless, conducted by a reputable organization near you! Our team is giving and collecting donations to fill 125 tote bags with everyday, simple necessities and other fun goodies to those who need it! You can to!! Please join the BICF to make a difference in your own neighborhood on Halloween!
